Register Copies

Hand written transcriptions from the registers of births, marriages and deaths for deaths for the whole of Scotland between 1855 and 2008, are available on request with a donation of at least £3 per event (members) or £6 per event (non-members), plus stamped addressed envelope or 3 International Reply Coupons. These transcriptions have no legal validity.

Please note that fullest possible details should be provided as minor searches only can be undertaken. Should a search prove unsuccessful, the administrator will decide, after assessing how much time was spent on the search, whether a refund will be made.

Requests should be addressed to the Society with "CERTIFICATE" clearly marked on the envelope.
