We had 414 bookings for the Conference.
The S.A.F.H.S. Societies who booked tables were, Aberdeen, ASGRA, Anglo Scottish, Borders, Central, Dumfries & Galloway, East Ayrshire, Fife, Society of Genealogists, GOONS, Heraldry Society, Highland, Lanarkshire, Largs, Lothians, Renfrewshire, SAFHS, S.G.S., Tay Valley and Troon. Alloway, Caithness, Shetland Societies were unable to have tables on the day.
Other groups, who had tables on the day were Ulster Historical Foundation, Glasgow City Archives, SCAN, The Mitchell Library and representation from the National Archives.
Researchers at Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah) are conducting a study using DNA to reconstruct worldwide genealogies. A booth was set up during the Conference. More information about this study can be found at: http://molecular-genealogy.byu.edu
